Alcon Entertainment , Alloy Entertainment and Kira Davis 8:38 Productions have reteamed to acquire Ann Brashares latest young adult novel, The Here And Now , which was released this week by Delacorte Press. The three companies previously joined to collaborate on Brashares bestselling Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants novels, turning them into a 2005 feature film starring Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrara and Amber Tamblyn and a 2008 sequel. Both were released by Warner Bros under Alcon s output deal there.
Davis will produce cheap airline fairs the Here And Now adaptation with Alcon s Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson.
