• Trendy Things to Do – although this colourful building divides opinion (you either love it or you hate it), the Centre Pompidou is a great place to spend an afternoon looking at art from around the world. If you're running low on cash after a Parisian spending spree then get a Panorama ticket for just €3 and take the escalators to the 6th floor for a stunning view of the city. It's much cheaper than the Eiffel tower and you can see for miles.
