This now means travelers can take the Metro straight from the airport to Downtown, Brickell, Coral Gables, South Miami and other destinations that are along the Metrorail system.

Miami is certainly a huge airport, carrying more passengers than JFK during the last 2 quarters, and over 10 million in the first 3 months of this year! But the new rental car center has made such a difference to the whole experience there. You can now just get on the first monorail to the RCC rather than trying to find a bus for Dollar or Budget or whoever. The RCC itself is large and airy, with plenty of seating for the rest of your party and then you just go out to the right bit of the car park to collect your car.
