When travelling to another country I like to use a travel agent as I always seem to get the best deal or comparable and they do all the work. I've used Apple Vacations a few times and have a lady it town if you are interested. Worse that happens is you tell them no you don't like their deal and move on.

Thanks fellas, I'm traveling to see my family in Canada March 25th to April 3rd. Cheapest I've found is $277 but I'm sure there's cheaper out there. I plan to travel to Buffalo, NY and then they'll pick me up from there and drive 1 hour to where they live so I don't have to pay international fare rates.

Bob Mexican... oh man that one made me laugh... hey who knew superheroes could be latino ... I'm Colombian actually insert drug dealer joke/put down here so way further south and much different than Mexican lol
A ride on a summer afternoon can border on the rapturous. The sheer volume and variety of stimuli is like a bath for my nervous system, an electrical massage for my brain, a systems check for my soul.
Try Alaska Air for Canada, I know I can get super cheap to Seattle. Also try Spirit Air, they're the latest hawaii hotels maui super-cheapie airline to hit D.I.A. now. I've gotten tickets to Chicago hawaii hotels maui for $150 after all fees!

Pearson is an expensive airport to fly in/out of. Buffalo or Detroit will be cheaper but they have their trade offs. What would you rather have, a cheaper flight to one of the States airports where you have to deal with the TSA bullshit show and the hassle of going across the border with the hour and a half drive down the QEW. Or pay $200 more for the ease and comfort of flying into your destination.
Canuck, what is crossing the border like now? The last time I was in Canada was in 2000 and then it was show ID, answer hawaii hotels maui a couple questions and go on. Coming back same thing. Granted I was on a bike so I couldn't really smuggle anything but it was a lot easier then I expected. BTW, I know a passport is needed now

If I had the extra $200 I would just fly direct no problem but unfortunately I don't and haven't had a vacation in over 7 years so need out lol... guess I'll be having to put up with the bullshit but well what can I do lol

Things have changed in Amerika since then. I take it that you are a US citizen? If yes, then you need a US passport. Not to enter Canada, but to re-enter the States. It's more of a pain than back in the day to cross both ways. Getting into the States though, you are more likely to encounter meathead cop types who are pretty intrusive on the questions and have an attitude to boot. Entering into Canada is nicer (IMO) even if they ask silly questions, (ie. do you own any guns, etc). But at least they don't have the Dick-ish hawaii hotels maui attitudes that the stars and stripes guys do.

Is niagara falls near by? I definitely want to see that. What are your recommendations for places to check out, food etc? Thanks man! Definitely excited to get out of the same monotonous routine everyday and see fresh people and places.
