Hollywood's filling up with mixed-use development but with a new boutique hotel headed for Cahuenga, less than a block south of another hotel that's already begun work , it's starting to seem like hospitality is the next big thing in the 'hood. The newly-proposed hotel would rise halfway up the block from Sunset, on a property currently occupied by a commercial building, reports Building LA . The hotel would be seven stories and have 55 rooms, plus a a rooftop pool and bar and space for a restaurant. Its as-yet-unnamed developer signed a 50-year lease for the lot, according to Bisnow .
