I haven't been to Boston in years and would like to stay there 2 nights on the way home from Maine. Is there an area that might be more convenient airline flight tickets to stay? We will have a car will arrive on a Sunday late afternoon. We'd like to see a few of the major sights. Thanks
We were in Boston airline flight tickets in May and stayed at the Hilton Back Bay. It was a great neighborhood for walking and lots of great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We used our Hilton points so don't know what the price would be during your dates, but probably a little over $200.
I have had great luck with Priceline and hotwire for Boston hotels. I bud four and a half stars in Back Bay and the Theatre dupistrict, which are where I prefer to be based during a visit. Haven't bid over $150. Parking is quite expensive.
I realize parking will be expensive. We're going to have a car, so we will have to pay to park. Sometimes when we are on a driving trip and hit a big city we find a lot nearby and have left the car in a lot and taken the metro into the city. I haven't checked to see if that's doable in Boston.
I bought the baseball tickets first and then booked this and then did the air. Someone on here recommends this place and they were sold out except for the deluxe room but still cheaper than many other places in Boston. Love this area. Four nights in Sept and then on to Maine.
