What is the best company to rent from? Who has the best deals? Any coupons or codes you guys know of to share? For me, I think redeeming some airmiles for some gift cards is a good way to go. Cuts some, if not all of the cost. I know in the entertainment book there are some coupons, and I think some companies give discounts to CAA members.

I have rented cars in Manitoba and in other provinces and I have been recently looking into this as well for travel. Some things to consider - as noted in other comments - in addition to basic rental price. Like many purchases, it is the fees and taxes that add up!:
