On our last night of our exciting trip to Norway, we stayed at the Radisson Blu Airport Hotel, Oslo Gardermoen.  We were able to take the bus directly from the resort in Trysil to the airport , so that was quite convenient as the airport stop comes even before the bus gets back into the heart of Oslo.  We also had early flights home the next morning, and in those situations, staying at a hotel that is not only at the airport, but that is so close it does not require a shuttle is virtually priceless.  Or in this case, it is the price of a cash + points award via Club Carlson.  Here are our thoughts united kingdom search engine on the hotel, plus links back to the previous posts in this series.

The internet here was pretty reliable (and free for everyone), but the lights in the room were quite confusing to operate.  Between the two of us, we could not figure out how to properly keep power in the room, but not have the lights on.  Consequently, while we slept overnight there was no power charging our plugged in computers and devices.  I m sure that was just user error, but it wasn t intuitive.
The bathroom had a shower/tub combo that didn t seem to have warm water when I took a shower the night we arrived.  However, my friend did not have that same issue in the morning.  The hair dryer did stop working while we were there, but the staff was nice enough to come up at 4AM when this happened and offer to move my friend to another room so that she could finish drying her hair before the flight.  Naturally it started working again as soon as the staff came up to help.
Due to the lack of many real options, we ate dinner at the on-site restaurant called AfterGate the night we stayed there.  The service was quite slow, but the food was decent.  There was a very interesting mix of people from all over the world meeting and eating here great for people watching.

We didn t get to check out the Fit4Flight wellness center or golf simulator on this trip, but even just the basic offerings the hotel had were totally fine for our one night airport stay.  The staff were extremely nice and the room was totally acceptable.  Obviously the location made getting to the airport for our flights a breeze, which was appreciated at 4:30 in the morning!  I would absolutely united kingdom search engine stay here again if I needed to stay close to the airport in Oslo, and would recommend it for anyone looking to do the same.
