FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami/AP) — The wife of Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill rented an SUV in South Florida, returned it shortly after but left a rifle in the back of the car, according to the Broward Sheriff s Office.
According to a BSO report obtained by CBS 4 News on Wednesday, Lauren Tannehill rented a Nissan Rogue from EZ Rental Car at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in the afternoon on January 4. She returned about two hours later to swap the Rogue for a different car, but authorities say she left behind an LMT AR-15, which was secured in a case.
