A few of you likely know that the Arizona Virtual Jeep Club website was hit by hackers around midnight of Sep 11. It turns out that the hackers family travel majorca exploited a security flaw in vBulletin that allowed them to create an admin account and then do as they please with the forum. One of the things they did was display a "pro Syrian" vBulletin notice on our homepage, but they also hacked the code for our forum. Apparently the hack took place on August 27th, although family travel majorca they didn't actually use the hack until Sep 11th.
Because vBulletin does not yet have a fix for this hack, and because they are overwhelmed family travel majorca with the number of websites hacked, I have had to go back in time almost two weeks to find a clean backup of our database that had not been hacked.
3. Many threads in the past two weeks will have disappeared. I actually still have them backed up, but they are located in the hacked family travel majorca database and I cannot extract them until vBulletin discovers a fix. I hope I can recover the threads, but it depends on the support I get from vBulletin. As I said, right now, they appear to be overwhelmed.
