You can rent a lot of those cars in Vegas, but it's $500 for 2 hours. I was planning to rent one to do a drive-thru wedding but since that would have doubled the cost of my wedding i decided against it

If you're thinking about starting up a business tuscany guides tour in Albuquerque, i think that's probably a bad idea. A city of less than 1M people, and barely a tourist industry to speak of. Not to mention being one of the poorest states tuscany guides tour in the country.
I looked up one of the places in Vegas that rents exotics and the prices were considerably higher than $500/day for most cars. For five bills you were into Z06/Viper prices cars. To answer your question, no I wouldn't be in the market for that type of rental.
A lot of Exotic car rental agencies rent other peoples cars out. Sort of like many time shares and Condo rental setups. People own the cars and then allow the cars to b rented out by a company for a fee and maintenance. This allows people who can't really afford to own one of these cars to own one. People rent the cars and have to take fairly substantial insurances out against damages. These rental setups benifit from not having to update their fleet, since they don't have a fleet. If a car has become too old or no longer popular they simply stop renting it from the owner.
Another setup I've seen is a club setup. People pay a monthly club fee and then a fee to actually rent a car. The money is used to keep the cars in good repair. The club is then capable of denying service however they wish to and revoke tuscany guides tour privileges however they wish. Many times these clubs run interesting cars rather tuscany guides tour then just exotics. The club rotates the fleet over time and keep reinvests the money made from sales to buy cars that are both interesting and have the likelihood of increasing in value.
I think it would be hard to make either float in Albuquerque. General lack of money. Both setups are not cheap and clientele would be hard to come by. This state is poor. the cost of living maybe low, but cars pretty much cost the same everywhere and parts will actually cost you more and will take transit time. Places like Vegas gets constant traffic and client rotation. The "club setup" is popular in places where car ownership is very expensive. Neither of these 2 things is true in Albuquerque.
One interesting thing, I was looking into these businesses a while back and an owner said that most of their clients were men that already owned an exotic. Turns out that most of them rented to drive them around on dates with their girlfriends. They preferred to do that instead of driving their own easy to spot exotic cars around; Mainly so their wife couldn't find them as easily.

If it was a go, I'd start off with just one. Likely buy a used ZR1 thats under warranty. I believe buying it outright so with the car payment out of the way just routine maintenance and wearables should be something I can easily cover on a monthly. And if its not getting rented or driven well there's really tuscany guides tour nothing but insurance I have to worry about.
For sure I'll lose out on the depreciation of the vehicle and that's pretty ok by me. I am still thinking this over. Not gonna happen for a while though as I'm sitting on real estate that ain't ready to sell yet in this market.
