Be Our Guest Fastpass? I have heard rumors that Be Our Guest may start doing Fastpasses for Lunch and was wondering if that was so and if anyone had heard or saw anything about it, I will be going in December with my niece for her 12th birthday and she is a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast and I could not snag the much sought after Dining ressies for it So the next big thing other than hoping someone cancels and I could get a table is to try to have lunch there which would make my niece incredibly happy. Thank you for any advice that you have!

I've heard about it happening. They were given them when they checked in for the Magical Express. It's still a trial thing at this point, but I imagine once the Magic Bands become available we will all see it become an option.
Even if they don't have this when you go, lunch is doable. Eat a light breakfast and plan to lunch early. I believe BOG opens at 11:00 but I would double-check that at the parks to be sure it isn't earlier. Go get in the line about a half an hour before opening. It really moves pretty well. My son and I did this, getting in line about 10:25 and we had ordered last minute airplane ticket delas and were seated with our drinks by 11:10. They use all three dining last minute airplane ticket delas areas at lunch, so it holds quite a few people, plus you can take your pick of where you want to sit. Theming is great, food is decent, drinks are refillable, and they use real plates and silverware. I know you'll enjoy it!

When we went Memorial Weekend and when we got to the Magic Express desk they gave us a paper saying we were guaranteed a seat at BOG just give it to the front desk at check in. Unfortunately we had all our dining plans already in place and as much as I wanted to try BOG I did not want to give up another reservation. I was so upset because I had tried to get a dinner ressie for months before we left and could not get it but IMHO you can't give me one at Magic Express, I was too late for me because we only were there for a few days and I knew I didn't want to give up anything else! oh well...

Yes, well before the bus at the podium when you check in. It was a big piece of paper all glossy and pretty with Be Our Guest written on it. The CM said to turn it in to the front desk when we checked in at Bay Lake Tower and they would get us in during our stay.
So was the pass you got at DME for dinner at BoG or could it be used for a lunch fast pass? We so want to get in there this trip but I don't want dinner - it doesn't appeal to us. And truthfully, I don't even want to go in for just drinks and desserts because from all the menus I've looked at, those are priced higher at dinner than at lunch by I think at least $1.
