I stayed in a family room at the Travelodge London all inclusive travel specials Excel for 2 nights in August 2012. It cost £29 a night room only, on the Saver advance non-refundable booking rate. It was one of the cheapest ensuite rooms I could find in London. It only takes a couple of minutes to walk to the hotel from the Royal Albert station on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR).
My third floor room was at the front of the hotel facing the River Thames, with the DLR track a couple of hundred metres away and London City Airport just across the river. Thankfully all inclusive travel specials the double glazing was pretty effective, so I hardly heard any external noise once the window was shut.
The hotel opened recently so the room was in good condition. The room was really hot as you could only open one small window a little bit. There was a fan in the room but it was a bit noisy to have it on all night. The bathroom looked as though it was pre-moulded as a unit and then inserted in the room. There was a small bath with a shower above.
There s a pub, the Fox Connaught, a five minute walk in the Excel direction. I walked all inclusive travel specials up to Newham City Farm from the hotel which took me around 15 minutes. all inclusive travel specials Three stops away on the DLR is Royal Victoria, all inclusive travel specials where you can take the Emirates Air Line cable car over to North Greenwich.
