Spirit has built up quite a hub in Fort Lauderdale where you can connect to destinations in Latin,South America, Puerto Rico and Bahamas. Whoever does it first will reap the rewards
This sound like a rather risky investment. People who used charter flights on a regular basis just don't travel as much anymore because of financial reasons. Investors are very reticent to these kind of businesses and it will be very hard for him to find the financial backup he needs to start an airline company.
