We stayed in room 2006 on the 20th floor for 5 nights in September 2012 as part of a 3 week trip around North America. The views from the balcony included English Bay and Stanley Park so we were really pleased. It was definately worth paying for a superior room to ensure we would have a room in the top half of the hotel (16th floor upwards).
The room itself discount cruise specials was clean and ample in size. It has all the usual facilities you would expect such as a safe, tea/coffee, fridge, Wi fi, etc. There is laundry service too, but we did not use this due to the extortionate prices. It is charged by item and from what i recall the cheapest items such as socks were at least $3 whilst discount cruise specials trousers and tops were in excess discount cruise specials of $10. Basically, it would have been cheaper to buy a washing machine and wash the stuff myself!
The location is excellent being on Robson Street. discount cruise specials If you like to shop than this is one of the main shopping areas in the city. There are many restaurants in the vicinity too. It is well placed for all the sights in Downtown as well as further afield. discount cruise specials The staff were friendly and professional too.
All in all, I would definately recommend this hotel as i would choose to stay here again if I return to Vancouver. Its not the cheapest place in Downtown, but i have stayed in a couple of similarly priced Vancouver hotels and this was my favourite. . more
