A daring smash and grab robbery family cruises in the middle of the night November 5th, took just over a minute to execute. Calgary Police released closed family cruises circuit video of a $100,000 robbery of a Market mall jewelry store using a stolen vehicle.
Investigators later found the SUV and more than 50 pieces of evidence in the nearby community of Varsity. Police said the vehicle, with Alberta licence plate BBM 5915, was stolen in Rocky Ridge sometime between Oct. 29 and Oct. 30.
Tips to police suggest the SUV was in the area of Northmount Drive and 14th Street N.W. the night of Nov. 3., along with a Dodge Caravan family cruises and a black truck. Those vehicles may have also been stolen, according to police.
