The 2012 Annual Meeting kicked off with an exclusive cocktail party at Dr. and Mary Spalding s stunning home in Belle Meade of Nashville. The following morning was a treat at the Nashville downtown library ( Robert AM Stern Architects ) with Peter Pennoyer , ICAA national chairman, as he narrated various design projects, clients inexpensive hotels in moscow russia and his wonderful inexpensive hotels in moscow russia book, Peter Pennoyer Architects . Just a short walk away at the Hermitage Hotel, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with a welcome from the hotel s controller and historian Tom Vickstrom. Jim Hoobler, inexpensive hotels in moscow russia Senior Curator of Art Architecture at Tennessee State Museum, treated us to a lecture at the Nashville War Memorial building with history and insights of the historic public collonade. The talk included inexpensive hotels in moscow russia a behind-the-scenes tour of the War Memorial auditorium. From 1939 until 1943, the Grand Ole Opry was held in this historic auditorium until the show moved to the nearby Ryman auditorium. Another short walk away, The Standard at the Smith House features several contemporary paintings by Ed Nash . Mr. Nash shared fascinating insights of valuing art, whether classical, modern or otherwise. Event photos
