The 2 exhibition halls at The Sydney Convention Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour were packed with about 90 exhibitors ranging from all the major local and international airlines, as well as most of the major tourism boards from Asia and The Pacific and huge number of tour operators.

The biggest buzz was definitely around the cheap flight deals being offered by the airlines. Discounts advertised were around 20% to 30% off the usual fares, quite a substantial saving if you were booking on the day.
