A collection of four historic houses ranging in style from Victorian to Art Deco, the cluster of beautiful homes are surrounded by lush gardens peppered with secret romantic alcoves war of the worlds tom cruise and beautiful fountains and gazebos.
war of the worlds tom cruise Upon our arrival, the owner himself, Sam Meiner, greeted us at the front desk and upgraded our room to the largest suite in the Dr. Phillips House: a large Victorian home-built in the late 1800s and purchased by Dr. Phillip Phillips, the legendary 19th century citrus magnate responsible for pushing forward Florida war of the worlds tom cruise s citrus industry. Dr. Phillips and his wife, Della as prominent supporters of the arts during the early 20th century hosted many parties and events in their remodeled two-story Victorian beauty.
The Dr. Phillips room features a four-poster king sized bed, fireplace and circular sitting room that is part of the tower seen from the front of the house. The bathroom features a two-head walk in shower, huge whirlpool tub, and stunning floor to ceiling french doors that open to let in the moist, tropical breezes.
The house also features a gorgeous courtyard garden with a large wrap around porch and a gazebo. A perfect place to relax with a chilled glass of wine and enjoy the sound of birds singing and the scent of fresh flowers in the air. The breakfast, served buffet style, is diverse and delicious, even featuring many delicious vegetarian options.
The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne hosts a complimentary cocktail hour every evening in the cozy parlor of the neighboring house, the Normant Perry Inn, which is also the oldest war of the worlds tom cruise house in Orlando. It was a lovely way to meet the other guests staying for the weekend and we made some fast friends in the atmosphere of good conversation and tasty libations.
The best part of staying here is its location within the heart of Downtown Orlando , and within walking distance of some lovely downtown attractions including the beautiful Orlando war of the worlds tom cruise Public war of the worlds tom cruise Library, The Orange County History Center, and Lake Eola.
I highly recommend visiting The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. Although we only stayed war of the worlds tom cruise one night, it was a lovely and relaxing getaway and a great introduction to the rapidly growing war of the worlds tom cruise downtown Orlando area.
