Platinum Transportation Group grew out of Platinum Motorsport, cruise ship grand princess which began in 2006. Platinum Motorsport is a customizing and restyling shop and collision repair center that specializes in luxury and exotic vehicles. According to Telikyan, starting Platinum Car Rental to offer replacement rentals to Platinum Motorsport customers was a natural progression.
Starting with one car, Platinum Car Rental has grown to a diverse 60-car fleet today.
