Personally it s hard to come back inside but I do need to grab a cup a joe and warm up my cold toes. Hope the floor has radiant heat. I really love the juxtaposition of natural surfaces and industrial lines. Frank Lloyd Wright would be jealous. Although he was said to be an old curmudgeon. It thankfully lacks the cliche mountain log home theme. (Although one of those beautiful ceramic moose heads would be acceptable and a carved wooden bear?) From the small bits shown it appears that the outdoors is allowed to be the center of attention. Well lets see more.

AND I know that it is in a wooded area of coniferous/pine, etc., yet I wonder if there was any thought to passive solar or if this house is going with the newer trend of radiant floor head as I certainly didn t see any utility closets or messy ductwork for HVAC work. And in the hills above the Truckee valley, all of that outdoor living space is going to be lovely if the insects are not a problem with no air(?). Gotta have my creature comforts. I have to give it to the Interior Designer this has the most setting-friendly color palette, and her attention to detail to heavy-up furniture, fixtures, and even door hardware shows a really smart cookie florida beach house vacation rentals behind a beautiful mind. My first two observations on the Sneak Peek photos: What a carefully chosen and awesome range of fabrics, seasonal and earth-tone colors and raw and refined materials all brought together to make this Dream Home an irresistible mountain haven. Who would ever want to leave?
And just a couple more rambling comments on the Sneak Peek photos: I like the patio brick colors and pattern, the natural grain wood doors and bold door hardware accents that capture the mountain flavor of the home and its surroundings.

Well lets see .I like the colors of red and white. I like the slate floors. The glassed in fireplace. The wood backsplash. The commerial stove and oven. etc etc .but I ll do a big pass on the wire screening on the stair way thats a thumbs down for me. I like the thin wire cable look.
I love the modern industrial feel of the huge ceiling and open floor plan. The fireplaces with stone in the livingroom and one in the master bedroom too! It looks like there might be wood paneling on the master bedroom walls. Love the tile in the master bath, the glass pendants in the kitchen (never get tired of that style) and the snowflake one looks great could it be for the landing? Wonderful professional stove, love yellow leather chairs, not loving the fencing looking staircase florida beach house vacation rentals though. I think you either love it or not. The kids room looks bright, love the international clock and pillows, love the curved chair and colors I think is in the master bedroom. I know Linda Woodrum will not disappoint.
