Please remake the original which was a pile of s##t compared with the book (yes I know it was directed by the great Sidney Pollack). After Grisham saw the film which based on overcharging clients, he asked Pollack what have you done to my story .
The Firm was actually a very good and complex book dark in spots and with a powerful and ambiguous ending. The movie was a very bad representation of the book. I would not only like to see it back as a miniseries but i would like to see the miniseries back so many of them like Shogun or The Winds of War were appointment tv back in the day and were better than most theatrical movies today
The problem with Minis back in the 70s and 80s was that they often cost a ton, and there wasn t enough $$$ in syndication and home video was non-existent.
