Guinness World Records also recognized the world record cheap hotel rooms in new york city for the greatest number of games of hop-scotch successfully completed in 24hours is 434, by Ashrita Furman of Jamaica, New York, USA at the Westin Regina Hotel, Cancun, Mexico, between January 12-13, 1998.
A record 381 people hopscotched through more than 100 grids in Portland's Rose Quarter Commons for 10 minutes just after noon on Saturday during the chapter's annual picnic, said Columbia cheap hotel rooms in new york city Northwest CEO Andy Nelson.
Of the 381 potential record-breakers, about two-thirds were either bigs or littles -- big or little brothers or sisters -- from the chapter, said Nelson, who was among the hopscotchers, The Oregon Live reported.
Big Brothers Big Sisters' mission is to use volunteer mentors who act as big siblings to provide support to children experiencing adversity. And organizers wanted the hopscotching record to be a meaningful accomplishment for chapter members.
