One of the things that I think can make or break a family vacation is the accommodations. Where we sleep while away from home is way more important when traveling with kids than when traveling without them. They also have their own beach, which you can take a shuttle to. There is mini-golf, a kids climbing play structure, and we even saw a magic show.
At night, the pool area was lit up, and we would sit out and enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony, maybe catching a cruise ship on its way out to sea. In the morning, coffee on the balcony while planning our day. Nice.
Back to the Tampa area, and a lovely vacation rental, Coconut Villas of Dunedin .
