September 28th, 2011 The Lungarno Collection is inaugurating a new exhibit at the Gallery Hotel Art in Florence. The Lungarno Collection is pleased to announce artist Su Blackwell's first solo exhibition in Italy. hybrid golf travel bags The show presents a fine selection of book-sculptures and prints hybrid golf travel bags combining iconic with recently commissioned works.
Su Blackwell is an artist and art director, working predominantly within the realm of paper. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in London hybrid golf travel bags in 2003, Blackwell set herself the challenge of making intricate art-works from every-day objects that were not works of art. She began by transforming books into fantastical three dimensional forms, cutting and gluing the pages of the books to create hybrid golf travel bags miniature dioramas, usually displayed in wooden or glass boxes. She is interested in the realm of fairy tales, and has been exploring these themes within her book-works.
