We recently returned home from a wonderful cruise through the Panama Canal. We were with Tours for Less which treated us very well. We were on Royal Caribbeans Vision of the Seas. We were with Betty Charlie Briggs (John's sister and brother-in-law), and Stan Marjorie Smith (whom John knew from High School days.) And we made many new friends, there were 110 in the Fun for Less group. It was a great trip. Every one should cruise the Panama Canal if possible. It is very interesting and impressive.
I am doing this to preserve our experiences for ourselves, family, and anyone else who might be interested. I want to share thoughts and pictures of our cruise, and also notes I made from the educator that Fun for Less Tours provided for us: Dr Wayne Brickey. We flew from Salt Lake City to San Diego and stayed at Courtyard Marriott Old Town. For dinner we joined two of Charlie Briggs daughters that live in San Diego and drove about 3 blocks to a wonderful Mexican Restaurant in Old Town San Diego called Miguels.. The weather was balmy, the company super, and dinner was very good. That could not have been better.
We had breakfast at restaurant Coyote in Old Town, and then walked to the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center. rent a car 18 orlando After spending a little time in Old Town, we all boarded buses and traveled to the Ship docks where we finally made it through of the induction lines and got on board Vision of the Seas. Our inside room was small but adequate. We did not spend much time there, except to change clothes, sleep, and do laundry which I hung in the shower with plastic hangers rent a car 18 orlando that I brought with me for that purpose. We mostly had breakfast in the dining room, and occasionally went for lunch at the buffet. By the last night of the cruise, all the men at our table were having extra ice cream with their dessert!

The Baja is 400 miles long, and is separated from continental Mexico by the Gulf of California. At Land's End is the Arch of Poseidon. Poseidon is the bad boy son of Greek Gods Cronus (time) and Rhea. He rebels against his father, and his mother hides him amongst rent a car 18 orlando the lambs. Poseidon offers Salt Water to the people and becomes the God of Sea Monsters, Horses, and he causes earthquakes, floods, and insanity.
