Good Day amazing readers!! My new husband (Jrod) and I finally went on our belated cheap car rentals chicago honeymoon right after Thanksgiving. I have to tell you that A) waiting was a great idea, no stress from go,go,go, no guilt from leaving family that had come to town, etc.
Little back story, the first week of October we started talking about when we wanted to go on a Honeymoon because time was flying by until I was going to quit my job, put the house on the market, and we were going to finally move. Jrod had talked a couple of times before about how he wanted to go on a cruise, and I knew this year we wouldn t be making it to Florida which means it was the first time since 1999 that I wouldn t be at Disney World. This got me thinking, Disney just started using Galveston TX as a port in September I wondered if they had any deals going on. Getting to the Port was very easy, parking was $10 a day and very much worth it. You can park under the covers with no extra charge you just need to ask *Yeah Jrod for asking! First stop we made was at Parrot Cay for lunch buffet. Bonus of the ship is that the ship wasn t full which made the whole cruise nicer.

We got to tour the Spa which was AMAZING and see the gym *goal was to workout everyday on the ship, we did all but one day! We also decided to get the 3 day Spa Rainforest pass which was worth every penny!! If you want to relax but won t want to get treatments this is the way to go!
After exploring we made it to the broadway style show for the night, ate an amazing meal, made friends with our table mates, and just relaxed the night away. *Bonus of the Disney Cruise is that your servers are the same every night so you really get to know them. *Ask them about the ports of call for insider tips, trust me they have really good ones!
