As far as hotel and comfort united kingdom postal codes go, everything was great. However, neighborhood was not so good. A lot of homeless people walking around were kind of uncomfortable. If you want to save some money and still close to downtown, I think it's an OK hotel.
The ambience of the hotel was nice. The rooms left something to be desired. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was within walking distance to union square. However the street the hotel was on itself was a bit sketchy.
