The Hertz Corporation has announced the global launch of a Hertz 24/7, a new rental service that is available 24 hours a day, according to a press release. This new program marks the first time car rental customers will be able to rent a variety of vehicles for any length of time, from only an hour to a weekly or monthly rental. By 2016, Hertz plans to also have "self-serve" vehicles that will be available within minutes of the majority of the country's population.
"Driven by the company's award-winning technology, one way rent a car Hertz is reinventing the car rental industry by putting the rental process in the hands of customer," Mark P. Frissora, the chairman and CEO of Hertz, said.
