I'm looking at hiring a convertable for a week in Los Angeles. Via Hertz.com.au it comes to about $590 with the insurances (prepaid), buy airline tickets however via hertz.co.uk it comes to 196GBP (again, prepaid). However, when I go to pay, the country field in the address info is fixed to United Kingdom. I can, however, select the Pay at Location option and it doesn't ask for my country of residence. Are they going to refuse me when I collect the car though?
