Food donations — Seymour Oxford Rotary Club requests donations of non-perishable food items and blan


Block dance, cruise night — The Seymour Culture and Arts Commission will end its summer one way airline ticket concert one way airline ticket series with a block dance on Saturday, Sept. 7.  The concert will feature the band Flashback playing music from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Walk-a-Thon — Polish Falcons of America, Nests 208 and 36, will host the Derby Greenway Walk-a-Thon to benefit Griffin Hospital Center for Cancer Care. The 3.5-mile walk will start at the entry to the Greenway on Division Street in Derby, circle to Shelton and back. Pawz in the Park — Responsible Dog Owner Day event at Ansonia's Warsaw Park, 10-4. Rally and obedience matches, canine good citizenship one way airline ticket demos; police dog demos; pet photographer, best dressed and best trick contests; vendors and raffles.
Seymour High Class of 1956 — will celebrate its 57th reunion on Sunday, Sept. 22, 12-4 p.m., at Brookside Inn Restaurant, Oxford.
