Last summer my mom rented a wonderful villa (actually, it was just a very nice house) in France, for a family vacation. It was the first time my mom, sister, airline tickets online brother airline tickets online and I have ever had a vacation together.
Our house was in a lovely little village called Maussane-les-Alpilles. We each had our own room and bath, a wonderful dining room, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room. When we arrived at the house, we were greeted by our local host, Janine. She brought the essentials we would need for our frig and our pantry. She set the table in the yard and served us a delicious lunch. She showed us around the house and told us how to use everything.
In the mornings we took the short 5 minute walk to the village center. The bakery airline tickets online baked croissants every morning, so we got them  right out of the oven! Some mornings we opted for other wonderful airline tickets online pastries. We wanted to taste them all.
We had a rental car with GPS, so during the days we explored the wonderful towns and villages throughout airline tickets online Provence. We went to the morning market in St. Remy,  toured Avignon and visited Isle Sur La Sorge. We visited the Luberon area where Peter Mayle lived when he penned "A Year in Provence."
At the end of the day, we were all together in that wonderful house, spending quality time together and telling stories of growing up. And seeing mom, at a spry age of 92, thoroughly enjoying every minute, has given me memories that will last forever.
