My personal favorite day to go to Glazer Children s Museum is on the first Tuesday of every month. W

The museum is located next to the Tampa Riverwalk, The Tampa Museum of Art, Curtis Hixon Park, and the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts. So if you come out, there are tons of other things to keep you busy too. But back to the museum
The first thing you re going to notice is WATER. Every kid s favorite thing. Kids can pilot a cruise ship, create thunderstorms, play with tug boats, and tons of other watery interactive exhibits. There s even a huge climbing tower to educate kids about the water cycle. That s right. They get to pretend to be a raindrop. Doesn t get much better than that.
The second level has a put-on-your-own-play theater, a play fire truck, dallas market center hotel a Publix shopping center, a mini-city, and tons more. My favorite was the sports section. Kids stand in front of a green screen and play a goalie, blocking virtual hockey pucks. I don t mean to brag but I set the high score.
After exploring all of the museum, we went outside to the Curtis Hixon Park to play in the fountains. dallas market center hotel I know my son is going to love me for posting this picture when he gets older. But what are parents for if not to embarrass their children?

Plant Museum across the way. A place that I want to go to very badly, but always seem to find a way to put it off. I ll get there eventually and you ll hear all about it.
There s the spires. The Henry B. Plant museum used to be known as the Tampa Bay Hotel, a 500 room luxury dallas market center hotel hotel built in 1891 by Henry B. Plant himself, the railroad magnate. Notable guests range from Theodore Roosevelt to Babe Ruth. Now, the building dallas market center hotel is used by the University of Tampa.
My personal favorite day to go to Glazer Children s Museum is on the first Tuesday of every month. Why? Because it is FREE! Yes, the first Tuesday of every month is Target Tuesday, where parents and kids get in for free from 2:00pm-7:00pm. It can get a little crowded, but you can t beat that price.
