If were you, I would go ahead and drive on through Nashville, so you don't have to deal with the traffic when getting on the road the following morning. There are lots of areas off of I-24 that you could stop at when you get to the suburbs. car fox lax rental The best of them would be Murfreesboro, as that gets you far out of the city traffic without sacrificing choice of motels and restaurants. The main exit there has many major motel chains and fast food restaurants to choose from, with lots of local and chain restaurants within a mile or two. I too would reccomend you get through Nashville, especially if it is later in the day, as that just makes it easier for your trip the next morning. Murfreesboro is great! a bunch to do just off the Old Fort Parkway exit. Stone's River Battlefield and the mall(s) are near there, as well as a nice park.
