The Candlelight Inn is a beautifully restored Bed & Breakfast built at the turn of the century by Leaming Rice in North Wildwood, New Jersey. Authentic antique furnishings that include an 1855 sofa and an Eastlake piano are yours to enjoy as you relax in our parlor. The grounds and room are very, very well kept. The bed was clean and comfortable. There was a whirlpool tub in the bedroom and a hot tub outside. The bathroom was very clean as well, and the shower had plenty of space. (I'm 6'2", so showers are sometimes a problem for me at places like these.) The "living" room of our suite was very nicely laid out. With the fireplace going, the adjustable lighting dimmed, and a movie playing, it couldn't get much better for a nice night in.

The location is also nice. There are a bunch of shops along a "main street" kind of road; it's just a couple of blocks away from Candlelight. The town is nice and it was fairly quiet while we were there. There are plenty of options for ordering in or dining out and there's a Wawa that's not too far away.

The establishment was outstanding but the real blessing was the "extra miles" Bill went for us. We lost our car the night before we were to check out in an auto accident in town. As things played out our nearest option for a car rental was 30 miles away. We live 100 miles from the Inn so we called our son to come bring us home. We had planned on spending the day touring and driving home that evening. After asking tom cruise filmography how I made out with the car rental Bill offered to drive the 60 miles round trip to get us to the rental.That salvaged our day and kept our son from having to rescue us. This is something you don't read in a brochure,but that we will never forget.( and he wouldn't even let me chip in for gas!)

The afternoon snack complements the stay and the breakfasts are superb. Nancy and Bill, the innkeepers, are very knowledgeable and always provide good suggestions concerning activities in the area.
My mom, sister, sisters' fianc� & I stayed at the Candlelight Inn for the weekend & it was our very 1st B&B experience ever!! My sister selected the Candlelight Inn based on all the great online reviews & now we see why they made it into the 'Select Registry' affiliation for excellence! We stayed in the 'Carriage House Suite' on the property & it was basically a 'home away from home.' They were very attentive to our needs & offered suggestions on activities in Cape May & surrounding areas. The breakfast was terrific! Snacks were offered daily (wine & homemade cookies) and baskets chock full of menu's, pamphlets, flyers, magazines, etc offering current weekly ideas & recreational activities to do in the area. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone. The whole experience was a treat, the room was so comfortable in every way, and I left there completely relaxed and refreshed. I used this as a get-a-way for me to unwind tom cruise filmography and it was just the best.
First and foremost I would like to Thank Nancy and Bill for such an incredible stay. I surprised my Girlfriend for a birthday getaway. I was looking for something quiet, romantic and relaxing. the Candlelight Inn, came highly reviewed and now I know why. The intimacy of the entire property has created a stir amongst my friends and family based on my stories I've told. The breakfast was an award winner in our book. Sitting down with other couples sharing stories of our hometowns while enjoying both Nancy and Bill's delicious cooking was a time we have already begun to miss. Its been a week since our stay and we are both clearing our schedule to get back. Beautifully decorated, well appropriate for this beautiful Victorian B&B the rooms were quaint tom cruise filmography and always comfortable. The Jacuzzi is nice and private..but ask to have the temperature raised to 100degrees plus about an hour or two prior to getting in.
The Candlelight Inn is awesome. From the moment of our arrival until our departure, we were pampered with bountiful breakfasts, afternoon wine & home baked cookies. Sherry in our room & chocolates. The Inn Keepers, Bill & Nancy were very friendly and gracious hosts. The room (Quarter Deck) was spectacular. This B&B has the Boardwalk and a few good eateries within walking distance. A hot tub and ample parking. A large wrap around porch to chill out.We felt very much welcomed and totally enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.
