I am an independent traveler, through and through. I found travelling alone was the best time to reflect on what I d seen, who I d met, and to relax and stay off the booze. Sooo true!  I did a contiki our through New Zealand and was basically stuck with a bus full of people who I just did NOT click with!!! I ended up meeting loads of backpackers and solo travelers on my nights out and just partayed with them, but during the day when traveling on the bus and doing activities with the tour group it was hell!
