Heralded as the decade's "best musical" and "Broadway's biggest blockbuster" by Entertainment Weekly
The phenomenal Broadway show Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz is set to cap the 2013-2014 Tulsa Broadway Season! Opening on June 18, 2014, Wicked will be at the Chapman Music Hall of the Tulsa Performing Arts Center until July 16.
Heralded as the decade’s “best musical” and “Broadway’s biggest blockbuster” by Entertainment Weekly and The New York Times respectively, Wicked has been breaking box office records, winning more than 30 major awards, and spellbinding it audiences since it premiered on the Great White Way in 2003. Wicked goes deep into the story and underbelly of Land of Oz and presents Oz’s memorable characters in a whole new and interesting light.
Don’t miss this stunning and vivid re-imagination of a beloved classic as Wicked plays the Chapman Music Hall nightly from Tuesdays to Thursdays at 7:30 PM, on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, and on Sundays at 7 PM, with 2 PM matinee presentations on Saturdays and Sundays.
Wicked was last in Tulsa, Oklahoma playing Chapman Music Hall from November 17 – 28. The 2010 Wicked Cast for Tulsa included Vicki Noon (Elphaba), Natalie Daradich travel for singles (Glinda), Marilyn Caskey (Madade Morrible) and Don Amendolia (The Wizard).
Prior to the 2010 performance, Wicked was in Tulsa, Oklahoma playing the Tulsa Performing Arts Center from July 15 – August 9, 2009. Tickets travel for singles for the Wicked showing in Tulsa were available through myTicketOffice.com which serves as the online box office for the Tulsa PAC. The Wicked Tulsa cast was comprised of Marci Dodd (Elphaba) and Heléne Yorke (Glinda), Marilyn Caskey (Madame travel for singles Morrible), Tom McGowan (Wizard), Colin Donnell (Fiyero), Ted Ely, (Boq), Kristine Reese (Nessarose), David De Vries (Dr. Dillamond).
