Seattle, Wash., Jan. 18, 2011 — As part of its corporate reorganization following the relocation of Seabourn Cruise Line to Seattle, Holland America Line has promoted Dan Grausz to executive vice president, fleet operations. In addition to his current responsibilities for Holland America Line, Grausz will assume all fleet and newbuilding responsibilities for Seabourn.
“Dan has been integrally involved with all aspects of Holland America Line's marine alaska land tours hotel, nautical, technical, security, safety and environmental management systems, and compliance programs,” said Kruse. “As well, he has overseen operations policy and planning, purchasing, logistics and vessel construction. He will play a significant role in helping to bring out the new Seabourn Quest this summer and in all aspects of fleet operations.”
Grausz previously served as Holland America Line’s vice president and general alaska land tours counsel and, since 2004, has been the senior vice president, fleet operations. He has been a key participant on the line’s senior management team since 1988.
Grausz has a bachelor of science degree from Cornell University, a master of business administration from the Wharton School alaska land tours of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
