Would we splurge on Business Class again? As someone who doesnt particularly like to drive, absolut

The Cascades trains go from Vancouver, B.C. to Eugene, Oregon. The Seattle-Portland leg of the trip takes roughly 3.5 hours. We had originally booked a coach ticket, but as assignments stacked up that would require en route attention, we reconsidered luxury car rentals in arizona our purchase. Roundtrip tickets luxury car rentals in arizona set us back $52; an upgrade to Business Class doubled the price. It seemed like a wise investment.
luxury car rentals in arizona By some miracle of the travel gods, we managed to snag a single seat on the west side of the train. Our spacious seat had two power outlets, so we were able to take care of all our tech needs along the way.
The drop down table fit our full-size luxury car rentals in arizona laptop perfectly. Free WiFi worked during most of our trip there were a few spots where it dropped for a few minutes, but it didnt really affect anything. The best part of the Business Class car though was the single seating configuration . (The other side of the car had two-seat and four-seat face-to-face configurations.) Were all about making friends luxury car rentals in arizona on the road, but when there are pressing deadlines, theres no time for small talk. Besides, theres not much anyone could say to distract from the views.
On the return route, we enjoyed early boarding , settled in, then wrote and filed our stories. Pleased with our railway productivity, we used the $3 coupon that comes with every Business Class ticket (one coupon each way for a grand total of $6 savings!) in the Bistro Car. We bought a Pyramid IPA, kicked back and enjoyed the remainder of the ride.
Would we splurge on Business Class again? As someone who doesnt particularly luxury car rentals in arizona like to drive, absolutely, especially since the last time we drove from Seattle to Portland it was pouring rain, took way longer than necessary due to rain-phobic drivers and tested our relationship in ways that were totally luxury car rentals in arizona unnecessary.
But we'd also book Business Class again specifically for business. You cant really put a price tag on arriving luxury car rentals in arizona somewhere luxury car rentals in arizona relaxed with a few things checked of the to-do list. We havent done the math on what it wouldve cost to drive (then pay downtown luxury car rentals in arizona Portland parking prices), but we feel like we came out on top and would definitely do it again.
Last time I rode Amtrak, it was more expensive than a plane ticket and there was no WiFi. (this was early aughts on the East coast.) This Cascades route would be totally worth it. Putting on bucket list.
