After energy and water infrastructure upgrades over the past year, the Chrysler Building now joins the Empire State Building with dual Energy Star and LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance Gold certification.

In addition to the Chrysler Building's certification, Tishman Speyer also announced that Lumière, the largest privately owned office building in Paris, France, received the HQE Exploitation Certification, the country s highest property environmental award. Altogether, worldwide, over 46 million square feet of Tishman Speyer space has been, or is in the process of being, certified under LEED or a similar rating system.
