Heading into the 11 th grade, though, I was well into my cocaine use. It had escalated from Fridays
After trying for the first time a line of cocaine I was "hooked." At the age of 14, I began a lifestyle that demanded money, style, and a charismatic personality. I think I already had a charismatic personality to begin with, cocaine just amplified it. I remember starting off slow, buying small little .25 grams for $20 and it would get me through the night. I was of course only 14 going on 15 so how could I known that this drug is a multibillion dollar business but eventually I caught on. Every Friday and Saturday night there were different parties hotel in mexico city airport therefore I had reason hotel in mexico city airport to party. I remember working as a bus boy at a neighborhood hotel in mexico city airport restaurant Fridays and Saturday nights making $200/week. Now for a 14 year old that was great but all the action/parties were on Fridays and Saturdays so I quit and bagged groceries for a grocery story, it was a day job, I had my evenings free! I was beginning to understand how this lifestyle works. This lifestyle of cocaine and alcohol is also called the "nightlife" and that's what I craved, hotel in mexico city airport the nightlife, where anything goes, freedom, no collared shirts with dress pants sitting in class listening to a priest talk about algebra.
9 th grade and 10 th grade were such a drag! I mean come on 8 hours of school at an all boys Catholic hotel in mexico city airport school? I was so bored! To make things more exciting hotel in mexico city airport I would by .25 grams of cocaine the night before and bring it to school the next day and set out lines through out the day on my table IN CLASS! I did not want to apply myself at all; I knew I was smart enough but for me, back then, to sit in class with a collared shirt and dress pants was not my style at all!! I wanted to wear jeans and a t-shirt and be free! So I would "cut" those late afternoon classes, which meant failing those classes and that meant attending summer hotel in mexico city airport school. Fine by me! "I will go to summer school for 3 hours in the morning, and then I have all of my day ahead of me." I would get picked up by an older friend, hotel in mexico city airport smoke a joint on the way to Oak Street Beach, downtown Chicago, right on Lake Michigan with the Drake Hotel and the fabulous Chicago skyline! We would meet other friends and it was one big "day" party smoking joints and drinking beers with 100's of other strangers hotel in mexico city airport hanging out at the beach. The only thing we all had in common was that we were all wasted!! There were times that I was so wasted my memory was blurred. I would say "what a great time we had" knowing I didn't remember much. I was only 15 years old.
Heading into the 11 th grade, though, I was well into my cocaine use. It had escalated from Fridays and Saturdays to 4 or 5 times a week. The quantity had gone up now to about 1 gram a day, that's almost $100/day! hotel in mexico city airport I needed to learn how to buy a larger quantity of cocaine to sell and use others money to support hotel in mexico city airport that $100/day. Not very hard when all the drug dealers are your friends. I got into a lot of trouble though. You see I was not the best at paying my debts on time. There were times a snorted more than what I should have and did not make any money.
