around the world travel Bunn, who was first elected as a C.A.R.E. Vice President in 2005, has played an integral part in the planning and execution of fundraising since C.A.R.E.'s first Silent Auction was held in San Francisco, CA in 2005. Under Bunn's direction, the auction that raises funds for a majority of C.A.R.E.'s marketing efforts has evolved around the world travel from a silent auction to a live auction and super raffle. Through the years, around the world travel Bunn has implemented donation drives, organized campaigns to promote the auction and the purchase of donated items, and has been responsible for recruiting industry leaders as auctioneers. On several occasions, Bunn herself has successfully served as auctioneer.
C.A.R.E. President, Alain Carr, notes that "It is impossible to ever pay enough tribute to Jeanette Bunn for all of her years of service and dedication to our organization. In addition to her dynamic energy and the industry insights around the world travel that she shares with her fellow Board members, it was Jeanette, 7 years ago, who started C.A.R.E.'s auction, which to date has raised over $150,000!" Carr adds that "I am not sure anyone else could have ever done that well. We are very fortunate to have Jeanette as a part of our C.A.R.E. family. "
Bunn has already begun planning C.A.R.E.'s 16th Silent/Live Auction and Super Raffle to be held during the organization's 56th Semi-Annual conference in Myrtle Beach, SC from April 20-23, 2013 at the Springmaid Beach Resort.
