In honor of Diamond Rugs ' current round of touring, which brings the group to Terminal West for a show on Tuesday, October 30, Partisan Records has offered up a stream of the group's self-titled debut album via SoundCloud.
For those who are unfamiliar, Diamond Rugs is a nine-piece Southern rockin thing featuring such unlikely collaborators as John McCauley and Robbie Crowell (of Deertick), Steve Berlin (Los Lobos), Hardy Morris (of Athens Dead Confederate), Bryan Dufresne (Six Finger Satellite), and Ian Saint P (Black Lips) whittling aladdin hotel las vegas away on drunk-punk/country songs about life and drinking, with titles such as Gimme A Beer, Call Girl Blues, and Country Mile.
