Hello. We are considering the Amalfi Coast for our honeymoon and in doing some preliminary research it seems beaches are not mentioned so much in relation to the Amalfi Coast - I understand what the landscape is like etc, so I am just wondering what are the beaches like along this stretch of the coastline, and which town would be the best one to stay in for beaches?
"Amalfi lays some claim to being a beach resort, and narrow public my travel canada beaches flank the harbor. In addition, between rocky sections of the coast, many of the first-class and deluxe hotels have carved out small stretches of sand reserved my travel canada for their guests. my travel canada However, better and more expansive my travel canada beaches are adjacent to the nearby villages of Minori and Maiori, a short drive along the coast. Those beaches are lined with a handful of cafes, souvenir kiosks, and restaurants that thrive mostly during the summer. You can reach the villages by buses leaving from Amalfi's Piazza Flavio Gioia at 30-minute intervals during the day."
One location on the Amalfi Coast that you might consider is Positano . There are a good selection of Hotels, including some very nice properties (for one example, have a look at *Le Sirenuse*). More importanly, there's a nice (albeit a bit small) beach in somewhat of a sheltered bay. The beach gets good sunlight in the morning and afternoon but tends to go into the shadows in the late afternoon. Positano is also a convenient location for boats to the very beautiful my travel canada island of Capri .
