Hello All! My fiance and I have decided that Italy would be a magical honeymoon location. With the extensive help of an amazing aunt, we are trying to work through an itinerary and the logistics. I have a couple of questions that need addressed. One, any hotels you'd recommend in Ravello, Amalfi, or Positano? I'm a girl that needs options. Our budget is moderate. Two, any idea of the weather on the coast in mid May? And three, any amazing memories of the Almafi coast that you think we shouldn't miss? (i.e. music in your favorite restaurant, the views from a certain locale, etc?) Thanks in advance for any feedback you might have!
Our "moderate" budget may not be your idea of moderate. To get the best suggestions, tell us your actual budget, in euro if possible, with the services you expect for the money: "We can pay up to 300 euro and concierge rental car phoenix airport services and a very central location. . . . Our budget is 125 euro, nothing fancy, but we do need a private bath."
Thank you for the prompt responses! To answer your question, we will be arriving in Rome and immediately traveling south to Positano (thank you Bob) and staying 4 nights. We will then head back to Rome for our final 3 nights. Is this too tight a timeframe?
Thank you so much for your advice. I actually think we'll stay at the Albergo Miramare. It looks gorgeous and is in our price range. The other option is the Buca Di Bacco if our first option isn't viable. What is the weather like, do you know, in Mid May?
