Two things to remember in Mexico is no gas station will take a credit card, only Pesos or dollars an

Before you travel abroad, go to your local bank and inquire about trading your money into the u currency of the country. We bank at US Bank and they provide this service for $9.99. If you don't do this, you will be trading American money at the "Mexico Street Rate" which, is terrible. Also download an app on your phone where you can convert, lodging in south lake tahoe say Pesos into American cash, and visa-versa. This way you can see exactly how much you pay. Everything we saw in Cancun wasn't any cheaper that in the US; even the food was the same price.
We went to Cancun during the middle of September and the first thing we noticed when we got off he airplane was how warm and humid it was. So humid that my glasses fogged up. I've heard that if you go to Cancun, you should go in February because it is like spring time in Washington.
At the airport and after you go through multiple inspection points, you will find a bank of car rental places all requesting you to go to them. Everything in Mexico is negotiable , even the police - more on this later. We went to Hertz and told them we only had $100 and wanted a car for 8 days. Always project lodging in south lake tahoe that if you don't get what you want, you will just go to the other car rental booth.
Driving in Cancun, everybody drives fast and recklessly-though safe. If there is three feet on the side of your car, you can bet that another car will take that space. As tempting as it was, DO NOT go the same speed as everybody lodging in south lake tahoe else. The reason is because the police often travel with 6 to a car and have no problem, from what we saw, searching your car. We got pulled over making a U-Turn and the officer was actually nice, even shaking my hand many times. After telling me that the road was a private road, he gave me two options lodging in south lake tahoe regarding lodging in south lake tahoe the fine: pay them $950 in Pesos ($75 USD) or they take my license and then go pick it up at the police station. All we had was $650 Pesos or $50 USD and he agreed to take that.
If you are asked to pay, judge the officers demeanor if you can get away with paying less. In Cancun, we drove around the city and then walked around. We went to the Mexican Barter Market where every vendor offered the same item. Also, every vendor tried to lure you into their shop which personally ruined the whole experience. TRUELY, THIS IS ONE PLACE TO AVOID. If you were looking for a Cancun shot glass, many vendors throughout the town all offer the same stuff without being summoned by every vendor to go into their booth.
Two things to remember in Mexico is no gas station lodging in south lake tahoe will take a credit card, only Pesos or dollars and if somebody does something nice for you, like if someone offers to wash your car windshield or bring your luggage to your hotel rooms then you need to make sure to tip for every service done and its expected.
Last if you been to the beach or the pool for most of your vacation and you want to do something more relaxing then you can take the bus, taxi or your rental down to the "La Isla" for some shopping and American chain restaurants.
