JetBlue : Party onboard! JetBlue recently began their nonstop flights from Fort Lauderdale to Medell
Sometimes its hard to stay on top of all the new route announcements that come our way, so weve complied a little bit of a rundown below. As long as you can afford the fares, this should definitely help add to your passport stamp collection.
JetBlue : Party onboard! JetBlue recently began their nonstop flights from Fort Lauderdale to Medellin, Colombia , marking their first entry into the country's second most populous city. They'll fly daily on A320s, and it's not simply a seasonal route. JetBlue is very serious about Latin America, so serious that they'll now be flying to three Colombian cities, for example. Count 'em: Bogota, Cartagena, Medellin.
Delta : Yesterday, Delta frequent flyers based in the New York area should have received a promo email announcing Delta's summer routes from JFK and LGA. They've already begun we've watched Delta land at Martha's Vineyard Airport the last few days we've been on the island and two directly challenge JetBlue 's fun seasonal routes from JFK to both Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket . The plane is small, but at least still a jet; it's an Embraer Regional discount hotels in florida Jet operated by Chautaqua Airlines.
Moving into unique territory, Delta will also spend the summer flying nonstop from LaGuardia (LGA) to Charlottetown Airport on Canada's Prince Edward Island . The flights, operated on a Canadair Regional Jet, begin flying July 1 and last until September 2.
Turkish Airlines : Two very fun routes coming up next summer (June/July 2014) from Turkish Airlines, as they've announced plans to begin flying four times a week from Istanbul to Bogota via Caracas and from Istanbul to Mexico City via Havana . Nonstop flights to each final destination from Istanbul are impossible due to airport restrictions, so in this case there's a bonus stop. Overall this represents a huge increase in Latin America for Turkish, who currently only fly from Istanbul to Buenos Aires via Sao Paolo.
Scoot : Singapore Airlines' low-cost cousin Scoot had a major party earlier this week as they inaugurated service from Singapore to Seoul, South Korea via Taipei, Taiwan . it's only 3 times a week, but operated on those yellow-painted 777-200s Scoot so loves. The competition is fierce, but the prices Scoot offers (from 229 SGD/$180 USD each way!) definitely make up for the flight not being a nonstop.
