Seventy Five store, 65% off, open every day all within steps to the French Quarter, famous restaurants and the Mississippi River in Downtown New Orleans.  Visiting for a vacation, attending a meeting this mall is a short distance from your hotel, take the trolley, jump in a cab or walk.
Have your morning beignets at Cafe du Monde, shop at a Neiman Marcus outlet or attend one of the many functions happening there, tomorrow there is a New Orleans Moms Blog Breakfast (not sure what that is) that is sold out
I headed over to the Mall this afternoon and it is quite nice.  It was packed with people being dropped of in buses, a couple of cruise ships are docked and people about to take a cruise were shopping.  The Mall is at the Mississippi River and the food court which is on the third floor has outdoor seating where you can watch the boats.  There are walkways from the Convention Center and the Hilton Hotel which is undergoing a partial renovation.  Skylit, sunny with all white tile throughout.
