I will be honest. I don t usually rent cars, maybe once a year. But, when I do it seems like I am always renting from Enterprise because it is SO cheap. There are always coupons and deals to be had, especially if you rent outside of the airport. The downside to Enterprise is that there is no rewards program. Typically, with car rental rewards, you can opt to earn airline or hotel miles instead airline car deal hotel orbitz rental ticket travel so if your company is paying for your rental (wouldn t apply to me) than going with another company like Avis or Dollar is ideal because it can be a great point-earner. Well, all of that is about to change as Enterprise is beginning the Enterprise Plus program on March 1, 2012. You will earn one point for every dollar spent, with free days beginning at 400 points. Members who complete six rentals in one year will receive Silver status, allowing them a 10% point discount on point redemptions and one upgrade certificate. That being said, there is no information yet on earning airline miles instead of Enterprise Plus points. I will keep my eyes open since usually there are awesome bonuses that go along with choosing to earn miles instead of car rental points.  Here is a current list of bonuses offered by the various car rental places from Frequent Flyer Bonuses.
