I have a reservation with Payless in 2 weeks. I try to avoid them like the plague if I can. lol But their price is just too good for my trip. Does anyone know if there is any way to bypass the rental line? I know they offer a membership program, Payless Perks, which I belong to, but I can't find out anywhere if it enables you to go straight to your car? Any info. would be greatly appreciated!!

Yeah, payless is one of those odd ball companies... the prices seem okay for the most part. But, now and then - you can score a deal!!!! They have some rates starting at 9.99 / day (at least at this very moment).
I chose them for first time last month because of good deal. But it was most stressful time I have had at check in counter. I gave them my confirmation and the guy just put it away under his computer. I had already purchased insurance at home before leaving and told him. My cost for 8 days was $225. He made out a form for me and quickly told me to initial and sign in places. Then I looked at cost and it was well over $600. I asked the guy and he insisted we needed to take all the extras. It was a shouting match for a few minutes until he scowled and made another one for me for $267. I told him again he had my confirmation and he said that the $225 was an estimated price. Then he tried to tell me we could only have a certain car with this price and if we paid $14 a day more we could have a better car. My wife butted in and said we signed up for a Nissan Versa and then he said yes we could have that.
So I would never suggest you use Payless in Las Vegas. Like others I would stick with Alamo or whatever reputable company you use even if you have to pay a little more. We have never had a problem with Alamo.
